Just a few things that we've done in the past, and code that we have which may be of use to you:
- Intuit Eclipse ® interface - we have a really nice HTTP interface to the IDMS-XML interface for Eclipse. This allows you to perform IDMS-XML queries using a standard (HTTP) interface. Fun stuff. We also have experience making PHP and Ruby on Rails work with Eclipse data.
- JavaScript - Lots of experience making JavaScript do unnatural things. The search engine is an example, but just about anything is possible.
- HTMLizing a graphic look - Principal Consultant Michael Chaney creates the HTML and CSS for all web applications by hand, generally from layers Photoshop files. The HTML and CSS can be validated and will work with any modern web browser.
- Scientific or complex mathematical algorithms - Principal Consultant Michael Chaney spent many hours of computing time in college coming up with ever larger approximations of "e" (2.71828...) and other seemingly frivilous pursuits. Sometimes, that stuff pays off.
